In Grade 4, I want to help children explore the early inhabitants of Jamaica in ways that are easy to understand and enjoyable to read. These upcoming books — Meet the Spanish, Meet the British, Meet the Africans, Meet the Indians, and Meet the Chinese — introduce our history in small, engaging lessons that build both knowledge and reading skills. 

My goal is to give parents and teachers practical tools to guide children as they discover how different peoples shaped Jamaica’s story, while keeping learning fun and manageable.
