Patricia Buckley operates the website patriciabuckley.com and provides digital educational resources designed to support teachers across Jamaica.

To protect the integrity of these materials and uphold copyright requirements, all products purchased by schools are supplied under a School Licence Policy.

This policy explains how schools may purchase, access, and use digital resources on behalf of their teachers.

1. Licence Requirement

Each purchase grants licences for the number of teachers specified at the time of purchase.

This means:

A school must purchase one licence for each teacher who will use the resource.
Licences must not be shared between teachers unless each teacher is covered by a separate licence.
Licences must not be transferred to another school or teacher.
Access is limited to the teachers identified by the school during the purchase process.

This policy aligns with the copyright notice included in every resource:

“This material is licensed for use by the purchasing teacher or school only. Unauthorised copying, sharing, or distribution is prohibited.”

2. Teacher Email Requirement

To ensure licensed materials are delivered securely, schools must provide the email address of each teacher covered by the purchase.

Each licensed teacher will receive:

Their own secure download link.
Access to all files included in the purchased resource.

Providing individual access links helps maintain licence compliance and reduces the risk of unauthorised distribution.

3. Approved Payment Method

Schools may purchase resources using Direct Deposit.

The process is as follows:

The school requests an invoice.
An invoice is issued with banking details.
The school completes the Direct Deposit payment.
Payment is verified.
Individual download links are issued to the teachers whose email addresses were provided by the school.

Schools should include the Invoice Number in the bank transfer reference or payment notes to facilitate payment verification.

4. Delivery of Licensed Materials

Once payment has been confirmed:

Each licensed teacher will receive an individual download link.
The school will receive a confirmation email summarising:
- Teacher names.
- Teacher email addresses.
- Date access was issued.
- Total number of licences purchased.

Schools are responsible for ensuring that teacher information is accurate before access links are distributed.

5. Copyright & Usage Rules

Schools must ensure that licensed materials are used only by teachers covered under the purchase.

Schools and teachers must not:

Forward files to teachers who are not covered by a licence.
Upload files to shared drives, staff resource folders, or cloud storage systems accessible by unlicensed staff.
Post files in WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, social media platforms, or other public forums.
Reproduce, distribute, or print materials for use by teachers who are not licensed.

Schools and licensed teachers may:

Print materials for classroom use by licensed teachers.
Upload materials to Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Moodle, or another Learning Management System (LMS) for use with their own students only.
Save materials on school or personal devices used only by licensed teachers for lesson planning and classroom preparation.
